Meet Ailin ("we", "us") provides an AI companion for people exploring, relocating to, or living in Dubai. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
What we collect
- If you sign in with Google: your name and email address, used to create your account and personalize your experience.
- Conversation history: if you're signed in, we store your messages with Ailin so she can remember context across conversations and give you more relevant answers over time. Anonymous (not signed-in) conversations are not stored long-term.
- Agency inquiries: if you submit the "For agencies" contact form, we store the company, contact, and message details you provide to follow up with you.
- Basic technical data: IP address is used transiently for rate-limiting (preventing abuse), not stored or linked to your identity.
Third-party services we use
- Google Sign-In — for passwordless authentication. Google's own privacy policy applies to how they handle your account credentials.
- Anthropic (Claude) — powers Ailin's understanding and responses. Your messages are processed to generate replies.
- ElevenLabs — used only for the voice greeting feature, converting a short text into audio.
How we use your data
To operate and improve Ailin — generating relevant answers, remembering context for signed-in users, responding to business inquiries, and understanding which topics people ask about most (in aggregate, to expand our knowledge base).
Your choices
You can use Ailin without signing in — you'll just lose the ability to save conversation history between visits. If you're signed in, you can sign out at any time by clicking your name in the top bar. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.
